At River Woods Ranch, we believe in using natural, non-evasive methods wherever possible. To help with land management, herds of Florida Cracker Cattle forage the land grazing on native grasses and shrubs. As an added benefit, these cattle return the majority of nutrients they consume back to the pasture, benefiting the plants and ecosystem as a whole.
Natural Pest Control
With exceptional flying abilities and keen eyesight, dragonflies offer a natural pest control by consuming large quantities of mosquitoes, biting flies and other harmful insects. In doing so, they help create a balanced ecosystem benefiting both humans and the environment.
